Mobile App Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 18, 2026

This Mobile App Privacy Policy explains how May River Medicare Insurance (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information within our official mobile applications for iPhone (iOS) and Android. It applies specifically to our apps and works alongside our website Privacy Policy.

1 Information Our App Collects

Information you provide

  • Contact details such as your name, phone number, and email
  • Information you enter to request quotes or manage your coverage, such as ZIP code, date of birth, and Medicare-related details
  • Documents or images you choose to upload (for example, an insurance card)

Information collected automatically

  • Device type, operating system, and app version
  • App usage and diagnostic information to keep the app working reliably
  • Approximate location, only if you grant permission

2 Device Permissions

Our app may ask permission to use certain features on your device. You are always in control and can change these permissions in your device settings at any time.

  • Notifications — to send appointment reminders and important updates
  • Camera or Photos — only if you choose to upload a document or image
  • Location — only if you allow it, to help provide plan availability in your area

Declining a permission may limit certain features, but you can still use the core parts of the app.

3 How We Use Your Information

  • Provide quotes, compare plans, and help you manage your coverage
  • Deliver appointment reminders and service notifications you have opted into
  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the app
  • Respond to your questions and provide support
  • Meet legal, regulatory, and carrier requirements

4 Push Notifications

With your permission, we may send push notifications such as appointment reminders and coverage updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and doing so will not affect your ability to use the rest of the app.

5 Analytics & Third-Party Services

We use limited analytics and diagnostic tools — including our own first-party analytics through theZwall Connect — to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. Any third-party services we use are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only process information to help us operate the app. We do not allow them to use your information for their own advertising.

6 How We Share Information — and What We Never Do

We do not sell your personal information. Within the app, we share information only as needed to serve you and operate our business, including with insurance carriers you choose, our technology partner XtreamData under confidentiality obligations, and authorities when required by law.

We never sell or share your mobile number, text-messaging opt-in data, or consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7 How We Protect Your Information

Information handled through our app is protected by a multilayered security framework engineered and maintained by our technology partner, XtreamData — including encrypted connections, secure storage, and controlled, role-based access. We treat your health information in a manner consistent with HIPAA and applicable privacy laws.

8 Data Retention & How to Delete Your Data

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal requirements. You can request that we delete the personal information associated with you and your use of the app at any time.

To request deletion of your data:

  1. Contact us by phone or email using the information below, and
  2. Let us know you would like your app data deleted.

We will verify your request and delete your information as required by law, except where we are obligated to retain certain records. Uninstalling the app removes it from your device but does not, by itself, delete information already collected — please contact us to request deletion.

9 Children’s Privacy

Our app is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through our app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Mobile App Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
